SQUARE: unexpected contrasts, unveiled transparencies, and sublimated shapes to bring out the light and reveal the iconic square of J.F. REY. A new signature concept highlighting the exclusive, universal, and timeless character of the brand.
This key concept of its new women’s optical collection, SQUARE, celebrates the J.F. REY’s signature square by drawing inspiration from the geometric constructions and coloured filters of the artist Daniel Buren. It stands out with an eye-catching design and innovative work with acetate, featuring unique structural, colour, and transparency effects. This line embodies a creative fusion between modern art and architecture, upgrading each of these frames into a true visual work of art.
The geometric construction of the temples defines this concept: a minimalist aesthetic structured by combining elementary forms in metal and acetate, with contrasts between opaque and translucent materials, monochrome shades and refined patterns. Designed without temple armatures, the precious J.F. REY squares, with their bright crystalline colours, highlight the distinctive identity of the brand: “In square we trust”!
As sophisticated as they are charismatic, these sculptural frames feature glamorous thicknesses and captivating graphic elegance. Structural details on the fronts capture the subtlest nuances, offering a unique look. Iridescent colours, like those of the SCARLET 4430 model, accentuate this effect by constantly revealing new aesthetic perspectives: a “visual surprise” characteristic of our creations.
Always keen to please and satisfy a wide and varied audience, J.F. REY’s designers have adapted this design in two more accessible and easy-to-wear shapes with the CRYSTAL concept. To be discovered at SILMO PARIS 2024, Hall 7-Stand F-086.
