Hoya Vision Care participated in the first Euretina Special Focus Meeting held in Paris on 29 June 2024. The inaugural Euretina Special Focus meeting was co-hosted by the Myopia Society and the French Institute of Myopia. The event sessions covered retinal complications associated with myopia, as well as prevention and management strategies. As part of its commitment to developing innovative solutions to the growing problem of myopia progression in children, Hoya Vision Care shared its expertise on this topic.
The event covered topics ranging from prevention to the treatment of complications associated with high myopia with discussions being led by global experts. In addition, there was a special tribute to honour the life and work of Professor Ramin Tadayoni, a leading figure in ophthalmology and former president of Euretina, who passed away in April.
Hoya Vision Care, dedicated to evidence-based myopia management and empowering Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) in their clinical practice, presented “Confidence through evidence – Miyosmart in daily practice”. The aim of the session was to raise awareness among ECPs of the importance of choosing appropriate myopia management solutions that are supported by robust safety and effectiveness, and to highlight the strong evidence base of Miyosmart that empowers ECPs to manage myopia with confidence in their daily clinical practice.
