In the heart of Cannes Film Festival, Ray-Ban and A$AP Rocky lit up the Croisette with an unforgettable celebration on board the superyacht “This Is It” – the after-party of Rocky’s much-anticipated movie premiere, and yet another powerful cultural moment under his creative direction for the brand.

Docked behind the Palais des Festivals, the luxury catamaran transformed into a floating world of style and sound. Kicking off with a cocktail reception on the deck, the evening brought together a mix of global celebrities, key opinion leaders, press, and tastemakers all curated by Ray-Ban and Rocky himself.

Guests arrived to a red-lit photocall before entering a uniquely branded space that merged nautical elegance with Rocky’s cultural “stamp” all over it. Inside, the atmosphere echoed the charm of an old-school cinema, with meticulous attention to detail. Red uplighting, cigars, Rocky’s signature cocktails, and even popcorn added a refined yet playful edge.
As the evening progressed, warm-up sounds by Kelvin Krash gave way to an electrifying set by A$AP Lou.

There was no shortage of star power, from A$AP Rocky and Rihanna, Jeffrey Wright, Formula 1 racer Lance Stroll, Toni Garrn, Barbara Palvin and Dylan Sprouse, Paul Pogba, Diamant Blazi, Jameela Jamil, to actress Kelly Rutherford, French actor Theo Christine, Alex Consani, Romee Strijd, Stella Maxwell, Alton Mason, Evan Ross, Leomie Anderson, Shuzo, Ikram Abdi, Ryan Destiny and many more strolled through the yacht’s decks, making this one of the most talked-about nights of the festival.

The night wasn’t just a party, it was the European debut of Rocky’s latest creation: the Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer. A striking reinvention of the iconic silhouette, packed with New York attitude, the Puffer comes in vibrant primary shades like red, white, black, yellow, green, blue, and pink. Everyone on board was wearing it — a bold preview of what’s set to become the must-have eyewear of the summer, ahead of its official launch in June.
Ray-Ban is distributed in Canada by EssilorLuxottica.
