Danish brand Ørgreen Optics is taking bold strides into its sunglasses collection for 2025 with a revitalized approach to colour and lens innovation. Known for its minimalist design and technical precision, Ørgreen Optics is now setting its sights on redefining how its sun collection blends style and functionality.

A STRATEGIC APPROACH TO COLOUR

With new frame designs generally landing at the end of SILMO, for this month the brand has strategically opted to enhance its existing collection by injecting fresh colours into its most popular models. This shift reflects a deliberate move to avoid redundancy in their product offerings while ensuring that every SKU has a purpose.
“Our goal is to cater to a broader spectrum of customers without over saturating the market with look-alike options,” explains Ørgreen’s sun designer Carola Nomden. “We know colour can create a whole new emotional connection with a product, and the possibility to work not just on the colour of the frame but also on the 3D inserts and lenses adds an intriguing complexity that bridges aesthetics and design.”
The new palette features a trio of concepts: Essentials, timeless classics such as matte black and deep brown; Accented Colours, versatile yet muted tones like soft blue; Seasonal Highlights, trend-driven hues, including sage green and vibrant pink.
MODEL HIGHLIGHTS

Meridiana and Aries take centre stage in this refreshed line-up. Their new iterations feature Spiced Coral or Baltib Blue accents in advanced 3D detailing, bringing a contemporary twist to timeless silhouettes. The new Season Highlight approach is visible in Wild Rose and Peppermint 3D rings paired with pink and sage lenses. “The use of tone-on-tone lenses elevates these models, making them both wearable and modern,” adds the team.
Leo Minor expands its appeal with polished gender-neutral offerings, exemplified by the sleek Shiny Grey Silver (1513). Meanwhile, Dream Baby introduces dramatic black-and-yellow contrasts, catering to younger, bolder customers with a keen sense of style.6
“This collection is as much about function as it is about visual appeal. The introduction of cosmetic lenses is a nod to customers who value style without compromising quality”; Carola Nomden — Senior Designer.
BEYOND AESTHETICS: LENS INNOVATION

Ørgreen Optics isn’t just reimagining colour – it’s also enhancing lens functionality. Cosmetic tints such as sage green and pink make their debut, appealing to the Asian market, where lighter lenses are especially popular. For customers seeking high-performance options, polarized lenses now feature prominently across the range.
