Oliver Peoples and luxury fashion brand Jil Sander are collaborating for the first time to launch a sunglasses collection that reflects a shared vision: purity of design, exceptional craftsmanship and timeless modernity.
Infused by the energy of contrasts, the first Oliver Peoples Jil Sander collection reflects a balance between angular and organic as well as industrial and natural. This dualism is expressed through a refined yet tactile use of titanium and acetate, creating silhouettes with quiet sophistication.

Frames Handmade in Japan, Lenses Crafted in Italy
Each frame is handmade in Japan and fitted with state-of-the-art crystal lenses crafted in Italy, marked with a subtle logo.
Among the collection highlights are Edition 3 and Edition 4, sculptural acetate frames defined by ergonomic temples, custom hinges and hand-inlaid logo plaques. Edition 3 introduces an assertive cat-eye silhouette with high temples, while Edition 4 features a striking ultra horizontal line that creates a bold stripe across the face.
The collection is completed by a palette of custom-developed colours — Dark Green, Soft Pink and Butterscotch — alongside Black and Tortoise, with lenses and frames designed in tonal harmony or subtle contrast.
Each pair is presented in folded packaging inspired by the gestural purity of a signature Jil Sander bag, extending the design language beyond the frame.

Californian Roots Meet European Heritage
The launch campaign was photographed by Swiss artist Walter Pfeiffer in Hamburg — birthplace of where the Jil Sander story started.
Featuring a diverse cast, the contrast between the blunt clarity of the visual intent and the carefree spirit of the portraits captures the essence of the project, juxtaposing the Californian roots of Oliver Peoples with the European heritage and modernist aesthetic of Jil Sander.
