The Optical Group (theopticalgroup.ca) has taken an equity stake in the Academy of Ophthalmic Education (aoece.com), effective January 1, 2026. This move builds on months of collaboration aimed at expanding educational opportunities and long-term support for Canada’s optical community.
The partnership reinforces AOE’s independence and educational mission while enabling both organizations to better serve eyecare professionals through shared expertise and resources.
